Weekly reflections

Week 5

I was absent for this class, however I was able to tune in on Zoom. This week we worked on editing with Microsoft and Canva! As ill as I was, I could kind of clue in on some ways to use Canva. I’m semi-familiar with both, however I am more comfortable with Canva, as I use Google more than Microsoft. I was unable to make a picture for this week, but I did write out a short list of things that I can use in Canva as a reminder.

  1. Choose from a wide range of poster templates.
  2. Customize text by selecting fonts, colors, and sizes.
  3. Add images from Canva’s extensive library or upload your own.
  4. Apply filters and effects to images.
  5. Incorporate shapes and illustrations for visual appeal.
  6. Use pre-designed elements such as icons and stickers.
  7. Adjust the layout by resizing, rotating, and arranging elements.
  8. Include backgrounds or textures to enhance the poster design.
  9. Utilize grids and guidelines for alignment.
  10. Collaborate with others in real-time on poster projects.
  11. Access templates specifically designed for various poster types (e.g., event posters, advertising posters, educational posters).
  12. Export posters in various formats, including PDF and image files.
