Week 5
I was absent for this class, however I was able to tune in on Zoom. This week we worked on editing with Microsoft and Canva! As ill as I was, I could kind of clue in on some ways to use Canva. I’m semi-familiar with both, however I am more comfortable with Canva, as I use Google more than Microsoft. I was unable to make a picture for this week, but I did write out a short list of things that I can use in Canva as a reminder.
- Choose from a wide range of poster templates.
- Customize text by selecting fonts, colors, and sizes.
- Add images from Canva’s extensive library or upload your own.
- Apply filters and effects to images.
- Incorporate shapes and illustrations for visual appeal.
- Use pre-designed elements such as icons and stickers.
- Adjust the layout by resizing, rotating, and arranging elements.
- Include backgrounds or textures to enhance the poster design.
- Utilize grids and guidelines for alignment.
- Collaborate with others in real-time on poster projects.
- Access templates specifically designed for various poster types (e.g., event posters, advertising posters, educational posters).
- Export posters in various formats, including PDF and image files.
