Week 8 – VR
Starting this off with a disclaimer, I have no VR headset or VR experience, but I was intrigued about an app that I came across called MondlyVR.
So, armed with nothing but my smartphone and a sense of curiosity, I decided to give MondlyVR a look through. MondlyVR is run through Steam (which I do not have) so I took it upon myself to watch some videos of how MondlyVR could be used.
MondlyVR is advertised as a tool specifically for language learning, but I’ll let this video speak for itself!
This video has a very in-depth analysis of how Mondly works! It’s ten minutes long but it is very cool to watch and experience. I love the idea of the immersive experience and how it really can get you talking and understanding a lot more!
