This week I tried to speak as much as I can, talking with friends and just practicing in my car while commuting to where ever I needed to go. I would entertain myself by having fake discussions in the car and listening to Italian songs.

Singing in Italian has been really helping my pronunciation according to my friends, mostly because the words can be very drawn out in the more romantic songs so it helps with my dictation.

Also on the topic of yapping, I was able to get a free trial of Super Duolingo because my streak hit another milestone! So I present to you, a Duolingo video.

I don’t exactly know what happened to the brightness/oversaturation of this video but it’s all for the learning process I suppose.

So as you can probably tell, this is merely a snippet of what I do in a Duolingo lesson. Keep in mind these “lessons” can be completed in 1-5 minutes, and in the app you can switch how long you would like them today in order to reach your practice goals. This video is actually 2 or 3 videos all mashed together with slight editing (and for some reason, super high brightness. Thank you, YouTube).

This was a more successful lesson I’d say, I felt like I was borderline in the trenches with lessons from last week (everything was super repetitive), and I was actually learning new words and such on the go. Moving forward I’m going to consider investing for a 2 week free trial of the Super Duolingo to see what it’s like.
